New members are always welcome here at TRPC.

To start your application please complete the from below completing all fields as fully as possible.

Once the online form is completed we will endeavour to respond quickly but due to the nature and legalities involved please allow up to 10 working days for a response.

Applications are open to all persons in good standing whether you hold an FAC or not.

During the process of application you will be asked to complete a membership form, if you are NOT known to a current member of the club please provide 2 references, your referees can be anyone of good standing that you have known for at least 2 years and is not a club official.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Prohibited persons

Membership is not open to any prohibited person.

Under Section 21 of the Firearms Act 1968, anyone:

1. who has been sentenced to preventative detention or imprisonment or corrective training or to be detained in a young offenders institution in Scotland for a term of three years or more is a prohibited person.

2. who has been sentenced to borstal training, to corrective training for less than three years or to imprisonment for a term of three months or more but less than three years, or who has been sentenced to be detained for such a term in a detention centre or in a young offenders institution in Scotland for the period of five years from the date of his release is a prohibited person for that period.

NOTE Teesside Rifle & Pistol Club takes the view that ‘sentenced’ includes a suspended sentence.
